Our School

Our brand new campus is the learning headquarters for 600+ energetic prekindergarten through fifth-grade students living in Spring Creek, Elko County, Nevada. Amidst the sounds and sights of children’s chatter and play, you’ll also see and hear students who are hard at work learning. At Liberty Peak Elementary, you belong to an educational community dedicated to providing children with the tools and building blocks they need to develop into independent, critical thinking, and active learners.

Our Mission

We respect and value our school family and require every staff member to meet our expectations.

  • Every decision is student-oriented.

  • Teachers and staff work collaboratively.

  • Teachers and staff are professional.

Volunteering

We love a helping hand (or many)! We frequently have a need for parents and community volunteers to work with students individually or in small groups. We firmly believe that the presence and participation of volunteers improve the school environment by allowing our students more individualized attention. Additionally, volunteering is a wonderful way for our community members to experience firsthand what happens in our school.

What We Need
We invite you to share your talents and expertise in art, music, travel, business, etc., with our students. Typical volunteer activities also include listening to students read, reading out loud to students, math and reading flashcard drills, assisting with art activities, and so much more.

Safety is Always First
To protect the safety of our students and volunteers, we require all volunteers to read, sign, and adhere to our Volunteer Confidentiality Contract. If you would like to volunteer, please pick up a contract from our front office.  Upon arriving at our campus, all visitors and volunteers must check into the office and receive a visitor’s badge.
