Day 3 of Staff Appreciation Week and Mental Health Week at EHS!
Yummy treats for our staff to help them show off their Indian pride but also a sweet treat because we are Nothing Bundt grateful for them always! 😋 A huge thank you to the Engelmeier family for donating delicious cakes for our staff!
We had a full year to get better at skating but we’re not so sure that happened! A great stress reliever for mental health? Roller skating with hundreds of kids from our awesome community and making the best memories while doing it! Thank you to every student who came to show off their skills or try something new! 🛼
One tribe. One heart.

Day 2 of Staff Appreciation and Mental Health Week at EHS was incredible!
We got to start the day with a motivating and inspirational visit from Dr. Laymon Hicks. He talked to our student body about overcoming any obstacle and getting back up time and time again. Our students loved his energy and his message! 🙌
During lunch, our students got to enjoy slime making and bracelet making as a mental health activity and our staff got to enjoy a delicious lunch from Pizza Barn with a Strawberry Shortcake Bar! 🍓
We are feeling inspired, spoiled and proud of our school!

Day 1 of Staff Appreciation Week and Mental Health Week at EHS was a busy one!
We started the morning with a pancake breakfast for staff sponsored by Adobe Insurance 😋Then, had a busy day of Cookies with Counselors and our Annual Stress Relief Night.
Thank you to our staff for everything they do and our students for making mental health awareness a priority! 💚

Mrs. Hoskins has transformed the Elko High School Drama Club into a vibrant, creative space, inspiring students to grow in confidence, collaboration, and appreciation for the arts. As the leader of the EHS Theatre Department, she has gone above and beyond, teaching everything from acting to tech and construction, while producing high-quality performances that enrich the community. Her dedication has brought performance art to life in Elko, led students to state and national competitions, and even taken them on trips to Broadway for behind-the-scenes experiences.
